MSW Representative Cricket Program

MSW ask all players participating in the MSW Representative Program to play a higher  standard of cricket, display the attributes of a representative cricketer and meet MSW  qualification criteria. 

Eligibility for MSW representative selection (all except U16) 

• All players must be registered with an MSW affiliated club and are required to play  a minimum of 5 days in the current pre-Christmas MSW season. 
• Be nominated by their MSW affiliated Club 
• Attend all trials 
• Attend all practice sessions and trial games  
• To be eligible for U12 selection players must be 10 or 11 before the 1st of  September 2025. Any player younger than this will not be permitted to trial. 
• Any deviation from the eligibility criteria is by application to the MSW Management  Committee. 

Eligibility for U16 MSW representative selection 

• Be nominated by their MSW affiliated Club 
• Attend all trials 
• Attend all practice sessions and trial games 
• In the event that a player does not qualify in the current season by playing a minimum of 5 days in the current pre-Christmas MSW season, players must be registered with an MSW affiliated club and are required to have played a minimum of 5 days in the previous MSW pre- and/or post-Christmas seasons. 

Additionally,  the player must satisfy either of the two statements below: 

1. In lieu of 5 days in the current MSW season, all regular season Lord's  Taverners games and/or BMC games which are played on the same weekend  as MSW competition games, shall count towards eligibility but only at UQ,  Souths or Wests (not including pre-season T20 or practice games). 

2. In lieu of 5 days in the current MSW season, all regular season Queensland  Premier Cricket Grade games which are played on the same weekend as  MSW competition games, shall count towards eligibility but only at UQ, Souths  or Wests (not including pre-season T20 or practice games).

Eligibility for U13 Girls MSW representative selection 

• All players must be registered with an MSW affiliated club and the requirement to  play a minimum of 5 days in the current pre-christmas MSW and/or BWC cricket  season. 
• Be nominated by their MSW affiliated Club 
• Attend all trials 
• Attend all practice sessions and trial games 
• To be eligible for U13 Girls QJC selection players must be 10, 11, 12 before the  1st of September 2025. Any player younger than this will not be permitted to trial. 
• Any deviation from eligibility criteria is by application to the MSW management  committee. 

Eligibility for U15 Girls MSW representative selection 

• All players must be registered with an MSW affiliated club and the requirement to have played a minimum of 5 days in the previous MSW and/or BWC pre or post  christmas seasons. 
• Be nominated by their MSW affiliated Club 
• Attend all trials 
• Attend all practice sessions and trial games 
• In lieu of 5 days in the current MSW season, all regular season Queensland  Premier Cricket Grade games which are played on the same weekend as MSW  competition games, shall count towards eligibility but only at UQ, South's or Wests  (not including pre-season T20 or practice games).
